Do I have to be sponsored by a firm to take the test?

Yes, most (but not all) exams require sponsorship. If you don’t have sponsorship, we can help you with that.  For a list of exams that require sponsorship, you can go to www.nasdr.com.

Do I have to be sponsored to take the class?

No, as a matter of fact some investors take the class just to get an understanding of different securities and how the market works.

May I monitor one of your classes?

Absolutely, we would love for you to sit in our class for an hour or two.  We know that we go above and beyond any of the other schools and we welcome the opportunity to show you.

I’ve been out of the business for 3 years; do I have to take my exams all over again?

Unfortunately if you have been out of the business for over 2 years you will be required to take the exams again.

Other than the Series 6 or Series 7 are there any other exams that I will be required to take?

All brokers must also take the Series 63 or Series 66, which are the state licensing exams.

How difficult is the Series 63?

As compared to the Series 6 or 7, it’s a walk in the park.  As a matter of fact, most people just study out of our books without taking a class.

What makes ESTI so different?

The fact that we are willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you are prepared to pass your exams the first time.

How often are the exams given?

Six days a week (Mon – Sat)

Do I need a high school or college diploma to get licensed?

No, this is not required by the FINRA or exchanges although some firms may require this.

How big are the classes?

We are in the process of expanding our classroom to accommodate more students comfortably. Our main classroom can comfortably seat 35 students.  Because we run so many classes, we tend to average about 25 in our Series 7 day classes and 20 in our night classes.  Another nice advantage to signing with ESTI is the student/teacher ratio.  We always have two teachers on staff, so this guarantees that you can get extra help if you need it.  We also have added extra classes on occasion to make sure that the students get the attention they deserve.
